I may not have a super huge platform but this is how I feel. Every night I'm terrified that something might happen to my loved ones. It's so frequent now, nationwide. When I heard about Alton's murder, I said damn another one. That's sickening & I had to check myself like is it really getting to that point where that was the first thought in my head. I don't know what to do. I don't have the answers but someone in this generation does. I honestly believe that. My generation, although were hard headed & sometimes don't realize our worth, we are so powerful. We're not gonna be like the rest. We HAVE to turn this shit tf up. Excuse my language but it's time. KKK just lynched a man in Georgia & it was ruled a suicide. It's getting real. I hope y'all prepared & ready to ride. What's happening now determines our futures, our lives, our children's & grandkids lives. We gotta fight like how our parents & grand parents did. This is not saying that I'm against white people. Some of the people who had the biggest influence in my life were white but at the end of the day, I am a young black woman. I date a black man. I have two black brothers. A black father. A black mother. Two black nieces & one black nephew. With that being said, I love you all. Stay safe, change is coming. I hope y'all ready.

R.I.P to all victims of police brutality including my cousin Russell who was murder by the NYPD. My condolences to the families as well
